Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate Experience: Experience an asset Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English Children's Ages: Infant (3 months - 11 months), Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years), Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years), School age (6 - 12 years) Specific Skills: Supervise and care for children, Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, Prepare infants and Children for rest periods, Help Children with homework, Organize, activities such as games and outings for children, Prepare craft materials and assist Children to use them, Instruct Children in personal hygiene and social development, Read to children, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, Observe Children and prepare reports for home care or babysitting agency, Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Discipline Children according to the methods requested by the parents, Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Child abuse registry check Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is available Work Location Information: Work in employer's/client's home, Various locations Essential Skills: Writing, Oral communication, Job task planning and organizing Other Information:Must enjoy working with children. Bilingual or having another language is an asset. |
