Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Smart Serve, First Aid Certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Languages: Speak English, Speak French, Read English, Read French, Write English, Write French Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Squirrel Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Work Setting: Restaurant, Formal dining room Food and Beverage Serving Skills: Serve food and beverages, general plate service, Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings, Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, Advise on menu selections Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills: Describe and advise on wine selection Additional Skills: Customer service oriented, Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, Address customers' complaints or concerns, Assist customers with special needs, Balance cash and record sales Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Critical thinking, Significant use of memory Employer: National Arts Centre |
